THREE BROTHERS Pizza - Company Timeline


1976

Greenbelt Location Opens. UMCP students rejoice: especially those raised in New Jersey, New York and Brooklyn. There were just three tables and the whole family (Mamma, Mike, Mario and Peter) working in the same kitchen.

1978

First Greenbelt expansion.

1979

Georgetown location opens. However, it was demolished to make room for Georgetown Park. You still can’t get good calzones in Washington, D.C. without an Act of Congress.

1983

Second Greenbelt expansion.

1987

Third Greenbelt expansion.

1990

Bladensburg location opens to rave reviews under the guidance of Mario Repole. The restaurant offers both fast-casual AND table service, a full bar, deli and bakery. The Italian Market is introduced, providing the community with the finest assortment of products and delicacies imported from Italy and the Mediterranean.

1991

Beltsville location opens.

1994

Annapolis location opens.  It provides a place for the next generation (Mike, Mario and Pete’s kids) to cut their teeth.  Maryland’s capital finally has good Italian food!

1994

Latest Greenbelt expansion (now seating 248 customers).

1994

Clinton location opens.      This is the first free standing unit.

1995

Hyattsville location opens.

1996

Rockville and Ocean City locations open, and Three Brothers fans can go not only to Montgomery County, but also to the beach, without missing their favorite pizza.

1996

Odenton location opens.   This is multiple franchise Owner/Operator Shaun Fair’s first franchise location.

1999

Silver Spring location opens.

2001

Bowie location opens.  This is the first franchise to be a major restaurant located in a Town Center environment.

2002

Glen Burnie location opens.

2003

Columbia location opens. This becomes the new “flagship unit”. Columbia residents can finally get excellent Italian food in a reasonable amount of time, at a reasonable price, at a location in their hometown.

2005

Waldorf location opens.  This is the second franchise for Odenton Owner/Operator Shaun Fair.

2006

Laurel and Bel Air locations open. 30th Anniversary Celebration
Campaign was a great success!.

2007

University Town Center (Hyattsville) and La Plata are scheduled to open in mid to late 2007.

2008

A new shopping center featuring a Three Brothers Italian restaurant will open in Prince Frederick, Maryland.
